S8 (Ø=8mm) and S9 (Ø=9mm) solenoid operators can be used with the related version of 22mm (EVI 7) or 30mm (EVI 30) coils.

OPERATOR ASSEMBLY

Plunger and core are made by a magnetic stainless steel, specially designed for solenoid application. The guide tube is made with brass (stainless steel is possible upon special agreement) The plunger is normally equipped with NBR seals. Other sealing materials like FKM and HNBR are available upon demand. The solenoid operators is designed for more than 50 million cycles.

COMPLETE SOLENOID OPERATOR

The coil is fixed by a knurled nut on the solenoid operators, for ease of changing the coil without interrupting the pneumatic circuit. Both S8 and S9 operators can be fixed to the valve body either by a M12x0.5 thread (thread version), or by a mounting plate with screws (flange version). Amisco does not supply the plate. The suggested valve body interface dimensions are shown in the following pages. Any change to the prescribed dimensions can affect the performances of the solenoid.
